Why we exist
Built backwards from one failure
Lawyers have been sanctioned for filing briefs citing cases that do not exist. Self-represented people have lost cases relying on AI answers nobody checked. The industry's response was to promise better models. Ours was to make the lookup mandatory: nothing reaches a user until its citations have been checked against the public record, and whatever cannot be verified is removed and named.
What we have built
Two products, one engine
DocketRouter
The API: any model, grounded in real law, every citation verified, with an audit trail. Used by teams and by their software.

The consumer side: live hearing explanation for the millions who walk into court without a lawyer, in all 50 states.
Product →The public-good part
The citation checker, the state resources, the claims library and the pro se guides are free and always will be. People facing court alone should not have to pay to find out what a word means.

Rules we hold to
Numbers are counted
Every figure we publish is measured from the live library, and the coverage API reports it independently. If we cannot count it, we do not claim it.
Limits are published
We say what we do not hold, on the same pages where we say what we do.
No invented anything
No fabricated citations, no invented statistics, no customer counts we do not have, no claims about competitors we cannot verify.
